radiologist is always on-site and available for consultations with
referring physicians.
C. Rob Armstrong, M.D.After receiving his BS Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Rolla, Dr. Armstrong earned his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he received Departmental Honors in Surgery and Pathology. He completed a General Surgery internship at the City of Memphis Hospital and served as an Emergency Department physician at Ozarks Medical Center. He then completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency and fellowship at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Memphis, and served on the University faculty as a clinical instructor. For the past 19 years he has been a Diagnostic Radiologist at Ozarks Medical Center, where he served as Physician Member of the Board of Trustees. His experience includes: MR, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, Breast biopsies, Myelography, Angiography and a wide variety of imaging guided diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures. He holds board certification from the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and the Missouri State Medical Association. Dr. Armstrong was born and raised in West Plains and his interests include wildlife conservation and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Our Technologists
West Plains Imaging employs highly trained technologists who were selected for their experience, positive outlook and caring attitudes. Most of our technologists have expertise in more than one imaging modality and are supported in furthering their skills and education. Their goal is to combine technical proficiency and personal attention to ensure each patient receives a high quality exam as comfortably as possible.
Our Administrative Staff
The administrative staff at West Plains Imaging represents a group of individuals with a diverse background in management, business, customer service, information systems and medical insurance. Timely scheduling and friendly welcoming are the specialties of the front office staff. Behind-the-scenes, additional staff is engaging in accurate, efficient insurance processing and rapid imaging report turnaround. Our staff is always available to personally assist a patient.
